Accessibility statement
Last updated: 29 October 2026
This statement applies to eatranslations.co.uk, in English and in Hebrew. We want everyone to be able to use this website and order a translation, including people who use assistive technology.
1. What you can do on this site
- use the whole site, including the order form, with a keyboard only, with a visible focus outline
- skip straight to the main content with a skip link
- use a screen reader: pages use proper headings and structure, form fields have labels, and error messages are linked to the field they refer to
- switch between light and dark mode
- zoom in, and read text that is real text, not pictures of text
- read the full site in Hebrew, laid out right to left
- browse without animations if your device is set to reduce motion
- use our accessibility menu to make text larger, switch to high contrast, underline links, stop animations or increase spacing for easier reading
2. How accessible this website is
We know some parts are not fully accessible:
- File upload button: the text on the “choose file” button comes from your browser, so it appears in your device’s language, which may be different from the page language.
- PDF translations: the translations we deliver are PDF files prepared by Elad and may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We can provide your translation in an accessible format on request.
- Payment page: the card payment form on our payment page is a secure component provided by Stripe, and so is any separate payment link we send you. We do not control its accessibility. If you have trouble paying, contact us and we will find another way to help.
3. Contact us about accessibility
If you have trouble using any part of this site, need information in another format (such as large print or an accessible document), or need us to work with you differently, contact us:
- Email: contact@eatranslations.co.uk
- WhatsApp: +44 7404 142224
Tell us the page and the problem. We will reply within 5 working days. If you cannot use the order form, you can send us your documents and details by email or WhatsApp instead.
4. Reasonable adjustments
We are based in Northern Ireland, where the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 applies; customers in Great Britain are also protected by the Equality Act 2010. Under both, we make reasonable adjustments so that disabled customers are not put at a disadvantage. For example, we can talk you through the process by WhatsApp message or call, give you more time to check the translated documents, or send documents in a format that works for you. Just ask.
5. If you are not happy with our response
If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland for free advice. If you live in England, Scotland or Wales, you can also contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
6. Technical information
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.
Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA, because of the issues listed in section 2.
What we are doing to improve
We check the site again whenever we make significant changes, and we will provide accessible versions of documents whenever you ask for them.
7. How we tested this site
We tested the website on 29 October 2026 with manual keyboard checks, manual checks of the pages on screen, and automated colour contrast checks. This statement was prepared on 29 October 2026 and will be reviewed at least once a year.
